๏ Vod is self-reliant, diligent and disciplined, with a lot of experience in battle and war.
๏ Hasn't formed many relationships in his life so his way of communicating can be a bit awkward. He is usually reserved and quiet, but lately has been trying to be more outgoing and talkative. He does attempt to be exciting, struggling to not take himself so seriously all the time.
๏ There's an air of stoicism about him, making it seem like everything is under his control. In almost all cases, that is true.
๏ He is an extremely resilient person that avoids sharing any of his feelings or burdening others with his misgivings. Despite his very controlled outlook on life, he is deeply troubled and can't find any worth in himself, something that ultimately manifests in his fate.
Misc / Lore
● His parents were killed in a skirmish with the Ixali. Clinging to the patrol that stopped them from attacking Vodalus too, he was taken to Gridania and grew up in an orphanage, experiencing quite a bit of friction with the gridanians in his youth.●Vodalus wanted to prove himself by honing his skills and becoming someone important and respected. Being given too few opportunities for this in Gridania caused him to leave and travel the world to do mercenary work. He was getting involved in all the conflicts he could to gain power and renown, even if that came at a great cost.●Living an uncertain life full of battle and conflict took its toll on him and after years of fighting, he returned to his home in the Shroud and lived underground for a while.●He's become bold, stern and quite unstable in his search for fame all those years. After living in isolation for a while, he emerged and started wandering the world again, trying to go about things differently.
